It is also known as the 1992 United States men’s Olympic basketball team which was the first American olympic team that had the appearance of professional players from NBA ( National Basketball Association). The leader of US team was Michael Jordan- an excellent basketball player along with other famous one such as : Larry Bird, Karl Malone, Scottie Pippen, John Stockton, and Charles Barkley,….   1. Rulon Gardner, Sydney 2000

Rulon Ellis Gardner was born on August 16th,1971. Before being well-known as a retired Olympic medalist wrestler, he was just a normal citizen in Wyoming and didn’t expect to have chance of taking part in the Summer Olympics in Sydney. Thanks to his hard training, he surpassed a strong opponent from Russia Aleksandr Karelin—who had been awarded three straight gold medals throughout his career. Gardner won the gold medal in 2000 and bronze one in 2004- which were the best individual prizes that he achieved in Olympics.

He is treated as one of the most famous Olympian of all the time who was well-known for his excellent talent in swimming. He has established his reputation when participating in 2008 beijing games and achieved consecutive eight gold medals. Thanks to this winning,  Phelps was also awarded the all-time records for Olympic gold medals and became the best player ever.
